IMFA records highest ever turnover and production
Q4 FY15 PAT up 233%; Sale quantity up 27%, Production up 19% Y-o-Y

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys (IMFA), India’s leading fully integrated producer of value-added ferro chrome, today announced its Q4 and FY15 results for the period ended March 31st, 2015.

Highlights of Q4 FY15 vs Q4 FY14
• Revenue increased by 24% to Rs 403.19 crores (Rs 324.16 crores)
• Net Profit increased by 233% to Rs 13.15 crores (Rs 3.95 crores)
• EBIDTA increased by 11% to Rs 85.03 crores (Rs 76.62 crores)
• Exports increased by 25% to Rs 330.04 crores (Rs 264.37 crores)

Highlights of FY15 vs FY14
• Highest ever revenue of Rs 1344.79 crores (Rs 1317.85 crores)
• Net Profit of Rs 11.98 crores (Rs 39.12 crores)
• EBIDTA of Rs 262.90 crores (Rs 310.34 crores)
• Exports of Rs 1064.37 crores (Rs 1073.75 crores)

Business Highlights
• Highest ever ferro chrome production of 205,203 tonnes and power generation of 914 million units achieved in FY15
• Record ferro chrome sale of 205,478 tonnes achieved in FY15

Commenting on the results Mr Subhrakant Panda, MD & CEO, IMFA said: “Better capacity utilisation led to improved financial performance in the last quarter and underscores the robustness of our integrated business model. FY15 was a very difficult year but, while some challenges remain, we are confident of a better performance going ahead. We are targeting higher output in the current fiscal and part conversion of debt into foreign currency will also bring down interest costs.”
