Hrushikesh Panda to receive Sarala Award

Noted writer and administrator Hrushikesh Panda will receive the 33rd edition of the prestigious Sarala Award for his work Garba Karibara Katha, the Sarala Award Committee announced here on Wednesday.

Dr Panda will receive cash prize of Rs. 2.5 lakh and a citation on at a function at the Jayadev Bhawan on October 26. Besides, musician Banamali Maharana and social worker Padmacharan Nayak will also be felicitated at the ceremony for their contributions. Both will receive Rs. 51,000 each.

Every year, the Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), the charitable wing of the IMFA Group, felicitates noted personalities with the Sarala Award.
