D K Sahni nominated to Central Advisory Contract Labour Board

D K Sahni, Senior Advisor (Mines) of IMFA Group, has been nominated by the Central Government to the Central Advisory Contract Labour Board as a Member for a period of 3 years. The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, issued a notice in this regard recently

The Board is responsible for advising the Central Government on matters arising out of the administration of the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970.

Mr Sahni has over four decades experience in the mining sector having served in various positions culminating in his appointment as CMD of Manganese Ore India Ltd (MOIL) prior to joining IMFA Group in 2003. He has also served as the President of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) besides serving many other prestigious institutes related to mining, geology, quality, etc.
