General Shankar Roychowdhury joins IMFA Board

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), India's largest producer of ferro alloys, today announced that General Shankar Roychowdhury, (PVSM), has joined its Board as an Independent Director with effect from 21st January 2008. Gen Roychowdhury is a former Chief of Army Staff and was also a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from 1999 to 2005. His appointment further strengthens a distinguished Board and will add to the high standards of corporate governance already in place.
