IMFA elected to ICDA Council

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), India's largest producer of ferro alloys, has been elected to the Council of The International Chromium Development Association (ICDA) under the category "Ferro Chrome Producer – Asia" at the AGM held yesterday in Shanghai, China.

The ICDA, based in Paris, was founded in 1990 and is the leading international body associated with promoting the chrome industry. It has 65 members from 21 countries in 5 continents. Its 41 Ordinary Members account for 93% of world production of Chromite Ore, 86% of Ferro Chrome, 82% of Chrome Chemicals and 60% of Chromium Metal. The 24 Associate and Affiliate Members cover Trading, End-Users and Service Providers.

IMFA will be represented on the ICDA Council by Subhrakant Panda, Joint Managing Director.
