IMFA Group sweeps awards at UCCI function

At a glittering function held at Bhubaneswar on Sunday, July 18th to commemorate the 40th Foundation Day of The Utkal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (UCCI) IMFA Group has swept the honours in the Very Large Scale Industry category. While Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) was adjudged the Best Enterprise in the State in the said category, Indian Charge Chrome Ltd (ICCL) was honoured as the Best Exporter.

The awards were presented by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha Mr Naveen Patnaik to IMFA Group's Joint Managing Director Mr Subhrakant Panda in the presence of Mr B B Harichandan (Hon'ble Minister for Industry, Rural Development & Law), Mr P C Ghadei (Hon'ble Minister for Finance) and Mr S N Patro (Hon'ble Minister for Energy, Tourism & Information Technology). Many other dignitaries from the State's intellectual and bureaucrat circles were also present at the venue.

Earlier Mr Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a photo exhibition on former Chief Minister Late Mr Biju Patnaik which was sponsored by IMFA Group.

Commenting on the occasion Mr Subhrakant Panda said : "I am indeed very happy and proud that UCCI, which is a leading industry association of the State, has honoured IMFA Group with the Best Enterprise and Best Exporter awards in the specified category. It is with humility that I dedicate these awards to all the employees of the Group without whose untiring efforts it would not have been possible to reach this pinnacle."
