C R Ray, D K Sahni elevated as Executive Directors

IMFA Group has decided to augment its management hierarchy by appointing Executive Directors (not on the Board) for key functions. Accordingly Mr C R Ray has been appointed Executive Director (Operations) in IMFA and Mr D K Sahni as Executive Director (Mines) in ICCL.

Mr Ray has been with IMFA Group for more than 35 years and has extensive experience in ferro alloys operations. He has been instrumental in enabling IMFA Group achieve high levels of capacity utilisation and production efficiency. Mr Sahni is the former CMD of Manganese Ore (India) Ltd and is held in high repute within the mining fraternity. His vast experience has already had a positive impact on mining operations which is crucial to IMFA Group's future.

Consequent to this decision Mr S P Mathur, Whole Time Director on the ICCL Board & Chief of GCS, has been redesignated Director (Finance) and continues to be IMFA Group's Chief Operating Officer. Meanwhile, Department of Company Affairs has also formally accorded its approval to Mr J K Misra's appointment as Director (Corporate) on the Board of ICCL. Mr Misra is responsible for supervising the functioning of IMFA Group's Commercial and Corporate Affairs Divisions.
