POSCO team visits ICCL
Visit follows renewal of long term contract for ferro chrome

Subsequent to the renewal of a long term contract for procurement of ferro chrome from Indian Charge Chrome Ltd (ICCL), a high level team from POSCO - the world's leading stainless steel producer based in South Korea - has come to India and visited the company's production facilities in Choudwar, Odisha along with IMFA Group's chromite mines in Sukinda. The team comprised of Mr D C Kim & Mr J H Yoon and was accompanied by senior executives from Japan's Marubeni Corporation which represents ICCL in the Far East for the sale of ferro chrome.

Commenting on the visit Mr Subhrakant Panda, Joint Managing Director, said : "We are privileged to have a long term contract with POSCO since 2000 and it is a matter of great pride for us that this has recently been renewed. As a leading producer of ferro alloys in India and the largest exporter of ferro chrome, our association with the world's foremost stainless steel producer enables us to make our presence felt globally. We were very keen that they visit our world class facilities in Choudwar so as to showcase Odisha's prowess in ferro alloys besides motivating our team to effectively & efficiently service their requirements."
