Mr D K Sahni, erstwhile Chief Executive of Manganese Ore (India) Ltd, has joined IMFA Group as Senior Advisor & President (Mines). He will be responsible for providing guidance and strategic input in order to further the Group's mining activities. A Mining Engineer with a Diploma in Advanced Management Course from ASCI, Hyderabad, Mr Sahni has rich technical and managerial experience having worked in organisations like IISCO, Hindustan Zinc and finally as Chairman & Managing Director of MOIL. He is Vice President of Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI), a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers - India and plays an active role in various other organisations.

Mr Sahni brings with him over 35 years of experience in opencast & underground mining and will play an invaluable role in helping IMFA Group develop its mines to world-class standards. IMFA Group is India's largest & the only fully integrated ferro alloys and the mining operations in addition to a captive power plant help the Group in maintaining a strong competitive edge.
