Vinay Kumar Agrawal has been appointed Vice President (Mines) of IMFA Group with overall responsibility of the Mining Division. Mr Agrawal is a B.Tech (Mining Engineering) from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, and has more than 28 years experience in organisations such as Hindustan Copper Ltd and Hindalco Industries Ltd. He joins IMFA Group at a crucial time when mining operations have been ramped up to meet the increased requirements of the Ferro Alloys Division comprising 130 MVA installed furnace capacity. He will play a crucial role in enabling IMFA Group to leverage its unique position as India's only fully integrated ferro alloys producer into a position of sustained market leadership.
