IMFA Group clarifies its position on chrome ore
"Not even a single tonne is exported or sold in the open market"

IMFA Group, India's largest producer of ferro alloys, today clarified that it has followed the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in letter & spirit by using all the chrome ore from its mining operations captively within the Group.

Subhrakant Panda, Joint Managing Director, said : "All the chrome ore from our various mining operations in Odisha including Sukinda is used captively within the Group and not even a single tonne is exported or sold in the open market. In fact, since we have only been allotted 50% of our requirement as assessed by the S D Sharma Committee, till date we are having to buy some chrome ore".
