Prem Khandelwal appointed Company Secretary

Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) today announced that Mr Prem Khandelwal, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), has been appointed as the new Company Secretary with immediate effect. He will be taking over this responsibility from Mr G Kalyanasundaram who will retire from the Company at the end of August after a long & distinguished tenure.

Mr Khandelwal, 43, is a graduate of Calcutta University and a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI) and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He ranked 4th nationally in the ICSI and 8th nationally in the ICWAI.

He has 17 years of rich and varied experience in several reputed organisations and joined IMFA Group as Vice President (Finance) in April 2005. In line with his increased responsibilities and the key role that he will play in taking the Company forward, he has also been nominated to the "Core Group".
