Dr Bansidhar Panda conferred Visveswaraya Samman 2001

The Odisha Engineers Forum, a professional body of engineers in Odisha, has conferred the prestigious "Visveswaraya Samman 2001" on IMFA Group Founder & Chairman Dr Bansidhar Panda. At a function held at Cuttack on September 15th the Hon'ble Governor of Odisha, Shri M M Rajendran presented the award which was received by Baijayant Panda, Vice Chairman of IMFA Group, since Dr Panda could not attend the function.

Speaking on the occasion the Hon'ble Governor Shri Rajendran said "It's time for the engineers to use their expertise in their respective fields for the development of the State and also of the country". Mr Panda thanked the Odisha Engineers Forum for the distinction conferred on his father. Eminent guests who graced the occasion included noted Oriya novelist Mrs Prativa Ray.
