ICCL's new year starts with record power generation
Company well on the way to surpassing all previous bests in this fiscal

Indian Charge Chrome Limited (ICCL)'s 108 MW Captive Power Plant at Choudwar has created an all time record in monthly power generation. For the month of January, 2001, the plant generated 74.547 MU, surpassing the previous best of 73.53 MU achieved last October. This translates to an average Plant Load Factor (PLF) of 92.78% for the month, which is a significant achievement.

With this achievement, cumulative generation for financial year 2000-01 upto January, 2001 has now reached 642 MU. Thus the CPP has already surpassed the previous cumulative generation record of 614 MU in financial year 1994-95.

Reflecting on this achievement, Mr Subhrakant Panda, Joint Managing Director, ICCL said, "Our CPP's achievement is a symbol of the spirit of resurgence coursing through the entire company, enabling ICCL's operational turnaround. I would like to congratulate the workers and executives for making this possible.
