Record production at ICCL's Charge Chrome Plant
Furnace operations stabilised after complete relining

Indian Charge Chrome Ltd (ICCL) of the IMFA Group which is India's leading producer of ferro alloys today announced that on December 17th it had recorded an all time high production of 213 mt of prime saleable material in its Charge Chrome Plant. The record output was achieved at an operating load of 33.16 MW consequent to the recent complete relining of the furnace which was expected to lead to greater efficiency and productivity.

Commenting on the achievement Mr Subhrakant Panda, Joint Managing Director, said : "The ferro alloys industry is going through a very difficult period globally and it is imperative that we operate at peak efficiency in order to survive in this challenging environment. Although the recently completed full relining of the Charge Chrome Plant was expected to yield positive results, I must put on record the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Choudwar which has led to this achievement.
