IMFA bags EEPC Star Performer

The Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), India’s
leading integrated producer of ferro alloys, has been awarded
the EEPC (Engineering Export Promotion Council) Eastern Region
Award under the category – “Star Performer in
Product Group from Eastern Region 2006-07 (Silver Shield)
– Ferro Alloys” for its outstanding export performance
during the year 2006-07.
The award, sponsored by the Union Ministry of Commerce and
given every year to meritorious exporters, was presented by
Development Commissioner of FALTA Special Economic Zone Arun
Kumar Bit, at a special function in Kolkata on Wednesday and
was received by IMFA General Manager (Finance) Dipak Prusty.
Commenting on the occasion, IMFA Managing Director Subhrakant
Panda said, “I am delighted that our focus on producing
and exporting value-added ferrochrome has been recognized.”
